Lee Jae-joon, the newly appointed mayor of Suwon Special City, continued his economic policy momentum by visiting Sims Bionics, a local company in the area, on his first day in office.
SEEMS BIONICS Inc, an eco-friendly disinfectant producer and water-related product specialist located in Suwon Delta Plex, achieved a sales revenue of 8.7 billion won in 2021, making it a leading small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) in Suwon.
Mayor Lee inspected the site of SEEMS BIONICS and spent time listening to the company's story.
Lee Gyu-soo, Executive Director of Sims Bionics: "It's really great to have the opportunity to speak openly like this, and we hope the mayor will continue to listen to such opinions. We wish there were more opportunities to express our concerns and complaints."
The Suwon Delta Plex, which houses many advanced industries, requested support to ensure the successful growth of companies.

Mayor Lee expressed his commitment to developing strategies to support both companies and their employees.

After his inauguration, Mayor Lee's first official action was to sign an investment agreement for the relocation of SD Biosensor's headquarters and research center. This was followed by his visit to Sims Bionics, a thriving local SME.
With the primary goal of the 8th local administration being the designation of Suwon as a "special economic zone," Mayor Lee is initiating active communication with local businesses, aligning with his administration's top priority of revitalizing the economy.
